Welcome to SFDJs.org, THE ONLY BAY AREA DJ RESOURCE YOU NEED!

How can we be so bold? Check this out. San Francisco has one of the richest DJ cultures in the world! And yet the community itself is fragmented, often revolving around transient promotions or parties. What about the music and the people? This site, SFDJs.org, is our contribution to the scene we love. It is a totally free service for the community: for Clubbers, DJs, Promoters/Club Owners, and curious passersby (no registration required!).

The main goal of this site is to strengthen the connections between Bay Area based DJs and the people in their community. Put simply, we allow you to find any DJ you know by name, browse through our entire database of DJs by genre of music, and post and check out upcoming parties and events.

All registered DJs have profile pages, with a brief bio, photo, and a personal information section called "My Latest News" which they can update any time on their own. So you always have access to fresh information about them, where they're playing, and what they're up to in the music industry. And because it's accessible on the web, you can access this info whenever you want (thinking about where to go out tonight?) from wherever you are (at a friend's house without easy access to your e-mail?).

Contact information for each DJ registered is available too, so you can book them for your parties, or just drop them a line to let them know how much you appreciated their latest set.

Hosting an Event? All registered DJs have access to post Events in our super easy to view Events page. Club Owners and Promoters, just drop us an email with your Event and we will post it for you!

As we grow, we'll add even more features, like subscription-based e-mail lists for each DJ, a rating system, forums, a mini-version of the site for mobile phones, and lots more. And feel free to give us suggestions and let us know how you want us to grow. We're sure you'll find this site useful and fun already, but stick around and it'll get even better!
